In addition, the inability to change the water level, the risk of electrocution, and the lack of control over the transmission of disease through water are other disadvantages.
In this model of water treadmill, which is the most standard model of construction and implementation, the treadmill is completely independent of the facility. The treadmill compartment has a door, allowing the person to take water from the aquarium compartment after entering the device and closing the door. This model of the device has a water storage tank as well as an independent purification and heating system. After the patient exercises and drains the water, the water is simultaneously purified and transferred to the storage tank.
Disadvantages: Requires a separate space for installations in addition to the treadmill itself.
Disadvantages: Need for plumbing and connection between the facility space and the treadmill
Advantages: Great control over water purification and disinfection due to the movement of all water between the treadmill and the storage tank with each use, in addition to the fact that the purification system will also perform filtering and disinfection on the water stored in the tank during rest periods.
Advantage: Due to the fact that the installation is separate from the treadmill, there is no electrical connection between the installation and the treadmill body, and there is practically no risk of electric shock.
Advantage: Due to the existence of an independent and standardized source of water, it is easy and possible to maintain water quality and clean the inner surface of the tank.
Advantage: If repairs and service are needed on the treadmill, there is no need to throw away the water because the water is stored in the tank.
Advantage: No transmission of disease through water, given that the water is completely purified for each person and, after returning to the cycle of use, is completely sterile for the next person.
Advantage: Possibility to change the water height to the desired level, for effective treatment or exercise when using a treadmill in water.
Advantage: The heating and purification system is independent; that is, the smart heating system and its purification system can be activated and operated even when the device is not in use.
Advantage: Occupies less useful space due to the compact size of these treadmills and the use of extra space in the complex for installations.
This type of treadmill can be used in a space far away from the machine up to 10 meters away or at a height of about 10 meters above or below, which allows you to use the yard, terrace, or rooftop.
